Advance a town in northern Stoddard county.  Herman was Superintendent of Schools here in 1930.

Arcadia A town adjacent to Pilot Knob, in Iron County.

Augustwalde, West Prussia (now known as Wiśniewo, Poland), birthplace of Emma Zimmerman, Otto's second wife.

Bennett a town in Ripley County, birthplace of Eura Adeline Moore.

Bismarck, St Francois County, a town 12 miles north of Pilot Knob.  It was an occasional motoring destination for Otto and family.

Bloomfield, Stoddard County.  Home to the Bloomfield Vindicator, which often reported on Herman's activities.

Bogy Street Home of the Lueddecke family in Pilot Knob, names after the industrialist and senator, Lewis Vital Bogy, (April 9, 1813 – September 20, 1877).

Boone County, Ky Birth county of John Walter McAtee and many of his mother's Ryle ancestors.

Cape Girardeau Home of Herman

Centerville, Reynolds County, 65 a town miles north of Doniphan, and 90 miles west of Cape Girardeau.  It was home to Herman and family on the 1935 census.

Clearwater a town in St Genevieve County, 

Como, New Madrid County, a town 60 miles east of Doniphan, and 60 miles south of Cape Girardeau.  It was home to Herman and family on the 1940 census.

Dingelstedt a small village in Saxony Anhalt, in the Huy hills, 9 miles north of Halberstadt.  It was the birth place of Otto and his siblings.

Doniphan, Ripley County a town in the south of Missouri, where Herman and Eura were married in 1921, and where their daughter Peggy was born in 1930.  Eura had been at school in the town.

Gilman City a town in northern Missouri, home to Eura according to the 1926 Doniphan High School Yearbook.

Halberstadt a town in Saxony Anhalt, Germany, 45 miles SW of the regional capital, Magdeburg.  It was the home of the Lueddecke family in 1870

Hamburg a city and sea port in north Germany, from where Otto boarded the SS Gellert before emigrating to the US in 1879.

Illmo a town in Scott County, home to Martin and Elsie Roth and family.  Martin had a grocery shop here.

Kentucky State in the US, birthplace of John Walter McAtee, and last home of Albert.

Le Havre Sea port in NW France, visited by the SS Gellert on the voyage of Otto's emigration in 1879.

Lebanon Junction, a town in Bullitt County, home to Ida Jane Lueddecke and Robert 'Bob' Harned and family.  They had a farm here.

Lichtengraben a street in Halberstadt, Germany, home of Otto's parents and siblings in 1870.

Pike Township, Stoddard County, incorporating Advance, was home to Herman and family at the time of the 1930 census.  It was also the childhood home of his wife Eura.
